First:  Reveal-IP is a patent search firm.  The Principal has 30 years’ experience providing patent searches to patent lawyers.  We are experts at the learned skill of finding prior art.  We fully appreciate that prior art is factual evidence and like detectives solving a crime, we approach every project with detective like commitment.  Our job is to provide facts.

Second:  We do not pretend to know legal reasoning.  We will never comment on what is or is not patentable or valid.  Because of in-house law firm experience, we know where the opinion line is.  We work mostly with attorney’s but sometimes with inventors referred to us by patent lawyers.  Reveal-IP research does not determine patentability. The searcher does not combine references.  What we do is strive to find and forward information that collectively represents average skill in the art for the subject project.
